STREAM BRAND DESIGN SYSTEM
2024
While working at Office Media Group / Microsoft, the majority of my creative efforts were focused on the Stream platform. At some point it was decided that the Stream brand needed a design refresh. I was asked to lead the redesign efforts, creating extensive design explorations, thorough design documentation and guidance. Below are a select few examples of design documentation which I created for the brand design system.

LOGO
After several explorations, I landed on a redesign with more modern theming and softer shape treatments.
I created Figma library assets for our designers to utilize, along with custom iconography treatments of the logo.
COLOR
The Stream brand color treatments were thoroughly explored and documented for product use, along with theming and high-contrast modes.
The updated brand colors were applied to Fluent UI components and shown as visual examples. Light theme shown below.
Dark theme UI color treatment shown below.
ICONOGRAPHY
To extend the brand further, I designed many of the custom mono-line icons, which I added to the Stream MDL2 font-based iconography library. The icon font is hosted on Microsoft's central IconCloud web-based library.
ILLUSTRATIONS
Using the brand's updated colors and visual treatments, I created a set of illustrations for in-product use and overall visual guidance.
EMAIL BANNERS
I created a set of email banners for use with various internal communications and additional visual guidance.
